Default Termination of the rental contract.

My tenant wants to cancel the contract he signed a week ago. The contract states that the amount of the deposit is non-refundable. I suggested that he reschedule the date. But he asks to return at least some of the money. I understand him, but I also lost money by not renting out an apartment to anyone. Am I doing the right thing?

I think you were more than fair to give them another option when they knew what they had agreed to in the signed contract.I rented a one-room apartment for a minimum fee. I didn't chase big money so with the help of https://parentportfolio.com/prorated-rent-calculator/ calculated the average fee . Those who filmed it, at first, were over the moon with happiness due to the fact that they shot it inexpensively. But the euphoria was over, the gratitude was no longer felt. For six months, everything went well: the money arrived on the card in a timely manner, and every month he sent receipts for utility bills. Then his friend moved out — and it began. At first, he stopped paying, justifying his grandmother's illness. Then there were complaints from neighbors. Three months later, we came to terminate the contract and vacate the apartment. I hope that you will never come across such a thing.
