Thread: My husband quit his job without telling me

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and I need some advice.
Just a week before Christmas, my husband came home from work and told me that he had decided to quit his job. He submitted all the documents to the personnel department and officially resigned.
I was shocked, but I also wanted to be understanding and supportive, as I knew that he must have a really good reason to leave his job after more than 9 years of working there.
He said he was having problems with a project he was involved in, and he just couldn't take it anymore. I just found out about it, I noticed that he was excited and calm, and I asked him many times if something was going on, and he didn't say anything.
I really want to support you, and I'm doing my best not to faint. I just want to get feedback from the community. What would you guys do?

Hi, I think he did it for a reason. This decision was not easy for him. But everything has already been done, and we need to go further and look for a new job.

You reminded me of my ex, who quit his job while I was home after giving birth. He left his job because he was not appreciated there. With his self-conceit, it's surprising that he worked there for so long.
When I found out, I almost lost my mind. It seems my ex didn't think about how we would support ourselves when we both don't work and have no savings. I had to look for work urgently, but I had to look for a remote job since I was sitting at home. Thank God my brother advised me of a platform with remote qa tester jobs. I don't know how we would have coped otherwise.
