In the realm of cleanliness, being able to remove all the dirt and grime and making the area spic and span for the next workday is the be all and end all of a business. Cleanliness, as they have ingrained since time immemorial, is next to godliness. What is important then is being able to make a quick and clean service that would hold to standards of quality, not only as a business but also from a health standpoint. So how can this be achieved? Here are some ways to ensure that the quality of service provided to clients is well worth the payments being made.
1) Equipment checking
The equipment are the tools for the achievement of the service contracted and quality promised. Thus, a thorough evaluation of the equipment must be made from time to time. 2) Procedures checking
The simple matter of having a clean up plan is foremost to make the work more efficient and effective. Thus, by drawing out which job is to be done first (be it floor sweeping or buffing) would make the resources available to the business more efficient in its use. The amount of water or electricity or even trash bags used affect the over all bottom line of the job. So making a plan before undertaking the job would control the cost of the cleaning job in a particular site. Also, there is a need for a quality assurance inspection as part of the process. This would ensure that before hand over to the client, all the provisions agreed upon in cleaning the premises would be done and done in high quality.
3) Personnel checking
Putting the right people, with the right skill set makes the cost of the job more within the budget. Thus, one who is able to operate more equipment would be able to do more work compared to one who is only able to mop the floor. It has been shown in studies that the capacity of the personnel is a direct contributing factor to the over all delivery of the service. The better trained and motivated the workforce, the better service is provided to the client. This in turn translates to a satisfied customer willing to engage the business repeatedly. Thus, training personnel as an effective cleaning manager with the proper skill set is an asset that one must have when undertaking jobs in the cleaning business.
