Thread: Seriously Made Money???

How many of you have actually made serious money online? And by serious money, I mean enough to support your family and yourself.

I want to earn in online seriously. But how to start? I have good support of my family and me.

This may not answer your question properly, but an insight for sure.

Supporting a family I cannot say would be very effective at this time, but as the months go on in the last year, this will be achieved very soon. I have become more and more familiar with the evolution of the internet, and the practices of successful marketing. A 2 year gap has divided my efforts but has certainly given me insight and an advantage to what I know now.

For 6 months I have been writing articles on topics of high interest. Topics I can relate and connect with in a way I can pass on and help others. Developing new ways of connecting with the right people is a goal for this year. Forums and Social Networking have been a great place for me to grow personally as well as my online business.

Several years ago, I pushed several affiliate programs and marketing systems without a true plan for myself. Google Adsense, GDI, among several others were apart of a marketing system that did make me money online.

$100 check from Google, $45 to $65 per month from GDI, and random checks for E-book sales and such..

It all faded quickly when the marketing system I used deemed useless of SEO practices, and shut down. I had nothing for experience other than posting ads in various locations. No valuable content to maintain my income, and no support to help keep me going.

Gladly, I have developed real world sales skills and keeping up to date on SEO. This alone is showing me results that will prove much less effort to maintain on my part.


--- If any advice can be given by me, that would be to open your mind for possibilities, and be willing to change anytime and all the time. Expect more from yourself then others, and offer more to others then to yourself.

My advice is don't do any business that depends on SEO. You can start with providing any kind of simple service that you can do online, then offer your service to teach people on how to make money from providing a service like you, then write a manual on how you make money teaching people how to make money..... rinse and repeat. That how internet "gurus" made their first million. Sounds easy, but it just involves a lot of work!

I think that you have to understand making money online is not going to be ‘instant riches’, especially if you want to be able to work for yourself, you need to have some money saved up while you get your start. This is not something for people who are just starting out broke for example.

You can definitely earn money online but to be rich from online earning really needs patience.
It is not easy to be rich in a month or two, you have to give lots of dedication to your work in early days of your online business.
Its not easy but not impossible.
