I noticed on my window sticker it says "convoy". Does that mean the truck gets hauled on a semi from the factory to my dealer? Or will it still sit in a rail yard and on a train somewhere in between? I'm located just north of Minneapolis, MN

Typically, "convoy" means it will be transported by truck in a group with other vehicles, rather than being sent individually by rail. So, your vehicle will likely travel directly from the factory to a distribution center or your dealer's location by truck.
On a related note, I recently came across an interesting article about various shipping methods, including motorcycle shipping via rail. It explained how rail transport can be an efficient and cost-effective way to transport vehicles over long distances, offering a secure alternative to road transport. This might be particularly relevant if you're considering options beyond the standard truck delivery, especially given your location near Minneapolis, MN. You can read more about it https://www.a1autotransport.com/moto...ces-explained/ .
I hope this information helps clarify how your vehicle will likely be transported and provides some additional insights into alternative shipping methods!
