Stryker quarterly profit meets expectations. Co issues upside guidance for FY09, sees EPS of $3.12-3.22 vs. $3.12 consensus.

(VPRT) - buy
VistaPrint 2Q profit jumps 66 percent. Earnings for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose to $18.5 million, or 42 cents per share, from $11.2 million, or 24 cents per share, a year earlier.

(MOLX) - short
Molex swings to a loss for the second fiscal quarter. Co issues downside guidance for Q3, sees Q3 revs of $500-570 vs. $628.47 mln consensus.

(WBSN) - short
Websense Inc, reported a better-than-expected quarterly profit, but forecast 2009 earnings below analysts' consensus estimate.

(PLT) - short
Headset maker Plantronics Inc, swung to a quarterly loss, and the company expects revenue to decline in the fourth quarter as worsening economic conditions weigh on all of its businesses. The company posted a third-quarter net loss of $92.0 million, or $1.90 a share, compared with net income of $19.1 million, or 39 cents a share, a year earlier.
