    Default E-Gold Appeal Denied

    Interesting,

Looks like U.S. DOJ is intent on destroying e-Gold and will not consider appeal to release any funds to fight indictment, a common tactic used by regulators to insure they win case with little resistance as owners are flat on their backs, dead broke. Few ever beat the government at their own game of scamming, so forget this deal, it is toast, as will be all exchanges once legal precedent is set, so RIP e-Gold.

Good luck and health to all, MIke

Mike, do you think this will have a 'knock on' effect with other processors such as E-Bullion and Pecunix?

The way things are going,so called anonymous debit cards will be next in the firing line as had already been proved with some cards like bestgoldcard and bluebanking.

The only way forward by the looks of things is bank wires into offshore structures.

    Good question,

Sadly, the power of government is difficult to fight, and although bringing down eGold is a major hit, I suspect offshore exchanges will flounder, not flourish in the future, so I wouldn't trust any of them as long as the reach of U.S. regulators is never to far. Sure will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Good luck and health to all, Mike
