Energy Information Administration comments today: Oil price may be on path to hit $186 Barrel in 2030; Non-OECD Energy use to rise 85% in 2030 versus 2005; Global Energy use to rise 50% by 2030 from 2005 level.

Federal Open Market Committee released their decision on interest rates today ending their two day meeting: Fed leaves Fed Funds Rate unchanged at 2.00%; inflation risks are up; Fed leaves Discount Rate unchanged at 2.25%; Fed expects inflation to moderate later this year; some indicators of inflation expectations elevated; uncertainty over inflation outlook is high; economic activity continues to expand; labor markets have softened further; financial markets under 'considerable' stress; downside risks to growth remain, but diminished; upside risks to inflation have increased; tight credit, housing contraction, energy to weigh on growth; Fed Members Voted 9-1 for Fed Funds Rate action; Richard W. Fisher President Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas dissented and preferred a rate increase.
