I haven't seen a single mental health professional in more than three years. And even then it was just one visit. My doctors unconditionally continued to prescribe me zoloft, and sometimes xanax, for many years.
To be honest, I'm not sure if I have a chemical imbalance, emotional disorders, a trauma from childhood, or I'm just a lazy bum. If I found someone who would do a real analysis to find out what the hell is wrong with me, who would I see? I am located in the USA, so I can choose a consultant, a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Here is my problem with each:
Consultants usually only have a master's degree and are often more confused than I am. Colleges pump out children with diplomas every day by hanging tiles for them. At 66 years old and I have a master's degree, I really don't want to date someone 25 years old. I don't think they could be related.
Psychologists: I'm not even sure about it. Are they experienced advisors? They have doctorates, they are called doctors, but what can they do? I haven't had any experience with them before.
Psychiatrists: prescribe pills. And if it doesn't work, they prescribe more pills. For them, everything is medical, not emotional or spiritual.
Who can understand me objectively and develop a course of action to improve my life?
I sincerely appreciate everyone who takes the time to respond, and I hope that everything is fine with you.

In as circuitous a reason as a philosopher is wont to offer, my school of thought is reliant on schooling my thought – thoroughly, regularly; keeping abreast of design, branding, advertising trends and solutions.

I am very familiar with this situation since my sister also took antidepressants for several years. Still, when she got better, no one of the doctors did not want to reduce her dosage, and it began to seem to her that money was being pulled out of her for receptions, but in fact, she is healthy. It is essential to find an excellent specialist who will help you understand everything and whether you have problems or are already healthy and ready to live without pills. To begin with, I will advise you to collect all your tests in https://www.iinsight.biz/, so you can immediately send all the tests to your new doctor when you find a suitable candidate, even if it is not in your region. Good luck with your path; I hope you will succeed
