What's a good country to travel by train?

I've never ridden a train. It would be cool to go to some country like that.

It seems that it is best to travel around Europe by train. For example, Germany would be perfect. I really like this country, and I'm going to visit it soon. I plan to see this country by train because this way you can calmly and slowly look at all the beauty and incredible nature. I also want to see all the famous architecture and historical sights along the route I have thought out in advance.
The next country on my list is Italy. Another incredible country.
Thus, you can see any country you want by train.
