Asking for a friend -
I got heat sink paste – the white kind – on the surface/dome of an LED.
What’s the best way to get it off?

I usually use disposable alcohol wipes for such operations. They do an excellent job. There will be no need to use aggressive agents, which can cause poisoning if on the skin or if you inhale the vapors. But still, if you decide to use toxic substances, please observe safety precautions! Wear thick rubber gloves, goggles, and some mask/respirator. Don't forget to ventilate the room in which you are doing this. I often work with this thing in the bathroom, as I am a plumber. And usually, people's bathroom ventilation works terribly because they don't give it much thought. By the way, if you would like to be a plumber yourself, visit https://www.howtobecomeaplumber.org/...ome-a-plumber/. Check out the information. Then choose either a trade school or an apprenticeship. Good luck with your studies!
