Thread: What do you do when your on vacation?

Hi! What do you with your chickens when you're on vacation on for 1 month? Do you keep them in your coop or do you give them to a farm and after you're vacation pick them up or what-so-ever?

Because there is always some work on my farm, I could not go away with my wife on vacation, even for a short period. It was also a problem that I had no neighbors nearby to whom I could entrust my farm. But half a year ago wonderful people moved in next door to us, and we became very good friends. We finally decided to trust them with our farm and went on vacation for a week. We didn't plan anything and didn't book a hotel. When we arrived, I saw that the hotel near me open now, so I consider us very lucky. It was an unforgettable vacation that I want to go back to again.
