Default Need Help With My New Pup

I just adopted the cutest little beagle puppy named Ruby. Shes full of energy and loves to play, but shes having trouble with basic commands and manners. I live in Pecan Grove and would love any recommendations for positive reinforcement dog trainers in the area who can help us master the basics like sit, stay, heel, etc. Ruby came from a shelter so I want to make sure she gets the socialization and training she needs to be the best dog she can be!

Oh how exciting, congratulations on adopting sweet Ruby! I know how tough it can be to train a high energy puppy. When we brought home our beagle Mix Marley as a pup, he was a little terror! We took him to Smarty Paws in Pecan Grove and it made a world of difference. The trainers there use 100% positive reinforcement to build confidence and reinforce good behaviors. Now Marley is the perfect gentleman on walks and knows all his basic commands. He especially loved their puppy playgroups for socialization. I'd highly recommend checking out dog training in Pecan Grove TX for Ruby! Their reward-based approach is ideal for shelter pups. With their help, Ruby will be a happy, well-mannered member of your family in no time. Wishing you both the very best!

Positive reinforcement training is definitely the way to go, and there are some great trainers out there who can help you and Ruby get on the same page. I'm not in Pecan Grove myself, but I've heard good things about Sarah's Pawsitive Pups and Rover's Rewards.
