Thread: Names have been changed to protect the innocent

there are some very colorful names on this forum. It would be kinda fun to know how they came to be.... mine for instance...

the early bird may get the worm, but it's the second mouse that gets the cheese.

anyone else care to share?

Although I have lived with my first name for over 60 years, I've never liked it.
So I use whatever name comes into my head when I register in a forum.
Sometimes I'm susan or ruth. Here I'm maxie.

When I was younger I used to have pretty long hair and I was very particular about it.....I liked every hair to be in place if possible so I always carried a comb with me.....even when I played softball (LOL)..... I played on a softball team in which we all went by nicknames..........the deal was that you couldnt pick your own, the rest of the team got to choose your nickname and you had to go along with it.........that is where the name "Style" came from and it has stuck with me for 18 years....(even though I dont have much hair left these days......LOL)

I am a teacher and a mom of two wonderful boys...hence teachermom... I know I know.. really original!! LOL

When I was first out of college all my buddies had "dog" nicknames. They called me Lucky Dog because I always have been blessed.
Even when things don't always go right.

I still am very blessed.

mine just seems to follow me around!

that makes 2 of us without much hair left and we are only about 1/2 year different in age oh well the hair had to go sometime .For my username I took part of a nickname from my oldest sister (snowy mark) and changed it a little. I'm not sure howshe came up w/ that nickname

Mine is just to illustrate that I will bounce back whatever happens.
