Thread: Trading with screenshots

I have a small problem.

Tonight I have a few paper games going, Israel-The mighty Danes and Holland-Equador, but as soon as the games starts all play is suspended, so I check Senegal-Norway and that is NOT suspended, why is that ?

I hope somebody has a good suggestion, as I would hate to make a bet only to find out I can`t cover myself during the match.

You have to make sure the games are 'in play' on betfair so you can trade your bet whilst the game is going on.

I´m not sure I understand what you mean, the players are still playing if that`s what you mean ?

Jesper,

You have to bet on 'in play' games. It tells you at the top. Only in play games can you bet on once the game starts as the odds change all the time. Normally 'in play' games are the bigger games that are being shown somewhere on tv. If they're not in play then once you bet before the game that is it, you can't bet again during the game.

I just wanted to tell that I finally got some money transferred to Betfair, started trading last tuesday and have done great so far, except for the Arsenal-Real Madrid game, where the players decided to miss ALL chances(can`t believe it was a 0-0 draw).

I believe there is good money to be made if I can stay clear of those 0-0 games, or is there a trick to earn from them also ?

I also want to thank Adster for helping me out when I was in the dark, lol

Nice one Jesper, sounds like you're doing alright!

Yes another good weekend, won some money on Man U v Newcastle where I layed the draw then backed it once Man U scored. Also did the same for Bolton v West Ham. These were my trades. Dave's also came in too. :0)

Definitely money to be made on this if you know what and how to do it.

Thanks for the pm's and emails. I'm so impressed with Dave's trading and his twice weekly Trading Post that I've added it to my own personal website above in location or if you click on my www.

Tonight will see a 'live trade' going on in a virtual trading room on a soccer match. This I'm sure has never been done before and I'm really looking forward to watching a professional trader show us what he does and when he does it. How it'll work is you get access to a trading room with other like minded traders where you chat amongts yourselves and with Dave who gives you tips etc. Then you'll see a screen shot of his own Betfair account and be able to watch what he does as he trades live on a game. Could be Man City v Aston Villa which is live on Skysports tonight.

Glad to hear you are making a go of sports betting. Are you using arbitrage, or just following the advice of this trader you spoke of. I thought you were with mysurebet as well, what is happening with that deal? I heard it closed, and could not find site, so I wondered if this trader was the same one who started that deal.
