U.S. Personal Spending

MBA Mortgage Applications:
U.S. MBA Market Index fell 10.7% at 595.8; compared to Last Week 667.3; U.S. MBA Purchase fell 11.6% at 213.3; compared to Last Week 241.2; U.S. MBA Refinance Index fell 10.1% at 2,889.9; compared to Last Week 3,214.
Core PCE Price Index:
November PCE Core Price Index unchanged Rate on the month; November PCE Core Price Index rose 1.4% on the year; November PCE Price Index rose 0.2% Rate on the month; November PCE Price Index rose 1.5% on the year.
Personal Spending:
U.S. Personal Spending rose 0.5% in November; compared to consensus of an increase by 0.6%; October Spending Revised to rise 0.6% from an increase by 0.7%.
Personal Income:
U.S. Personal Income rose 0.4% in November; compared to consensus of an increase by 0.5%; October Personal Income Revised to rise 0.3% from an increase by 0.2%.
University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index:
End-December Sentiment 72.5; November 67.4; End-December Current Index 78.0; November 68.8; End-December Expectations 68.9; November 66.5; Preliminary December Sentiment Was 73.4; 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 2.5%; November rose 2.7%; 5-Yr Inflation Forecast rose 2.7%; November rose 3.0%.
New Home Sales:
U.S. November New Home Sales fell 11.3% to 355K compared to consensus of 425K; U.S. October New Home Sales Revised to 400K from 430K.
Crude Oil Inventories released by DOE [Department of Energy]:
U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles fell 4.841 Million Barrels at 327.546 Million Barrels; U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles fell4.841 Million Barrels in Week; was seen decreasing by 1 Million Barrels; U.S. Gasoline Stockpiles fell 0.883 Million Barrels at 216.33 Million Barrels; U.S. Gasoline Stockpiles fell 0.883 Million Barrels in Week; was seen increasing by 0.8 Million Barrels; U.S. Distillate Stockpiles fell 3.027 Million Barrels at 161.336 Million Barrels; U.S. Distillate Stockpiles fell 3.027 Million Barrels in Week; was seen decreasing by 2.3 Million Barrels; U.S. Refineries Ran at 80.0% capacity versus 80.0% Week Ago; U.S. Refineries Ran at 80.0% capacity; was seen 80.20%.
