Q: Has any one been paid yet?
A: I have 2 confirmed payments through my PayPal account
Q: How does it work?
A: My Search Funds is a UK based company, It works by collecting revenue from the sponsored links in the searches you do, every search engine is the same, but only “my search funds” split the profit with you 50/50, don't forget Firefox gets paid by Google every time you do a search, why line their pockets line yours instead!!.
Q: How much can I earn?
A: I do about 47 searches a day and I get about a £1 a day, (You get paid around 2.1 pence per search) and that’s for doing what I normally do but I just have to change the way I search slightly.
Q: When do I get paid?
A: 45 days after the end of the month (minimum £20), sometimes they will payout if you are above a £10er and below £20, they can pay you directly into you Paypal account or by BACS straight into your bank account, I haven’t given them my account number yet until I reach my Paypal withdrawal limit of £50, then I will start to get paid through BACS, it looks like they pay out at roughly the same time every month after the initial waiting period of 45 days.
Q: How much have you earned?
A: So far I have earned £64.80 as of the 23/4/08, I only started on the 20/1/08, this could be a good earner, and it will cover the cost of my Broadband and phone line from Virgin Media.
Q: What do I have to do differently?
A: It is very easy to get used to, basically all you have to do is set the “my search funds” as your “homepage” on your browser, either on Internet Explorer or Firefox, and every time you want to do a search click on your home page button, and type what you want into “my search funds” search bar, after the first time you do this, it remembers the search in a drop down box, just click on the one you want and off you go, if you visit the same website regularly throughout the day this will also add to your daily search count, so you don't have to search for different things each time, I may visit ebay x5, hotukdeals x5, MSE x5, all these count towards you total, just space them out throughout the day, try not to go to websites through your bookmarks as you do not get paid for doing it that way, and if you do a search through Ask/Google search results page, you don’t get paid for that either.
Q: How do I search with “my search funds”?
A: Search for what you normally would, try not to do more than 2 searches per minute, leave a few minutes between searches, try to click through on the sponsored links a couple times a day, because that is how they raise revenue, I do about 47 searches per day, spaced out through the day, “my search funds” employ highly sophisticated detection software to flag abuse of the system, so searches can be disallowed up to 45 days after you did them, (so far I have only had 20 disallowed), if you take my advice though it shouldn’t be a problem, but trial and error is the best way to find out how it works.
Q: How to earn extra money?
A: If you refer a friend you get 10% of what they earn but the money doesn’t come from their cut of the money it comes from “my search funds” cut of the money.
