We hit a problem on the server end. I am trying to sort it out with them now.
This is one the reasons we are going up in test mode first to sort out any problems.
Sorry guys, too many people trying at the moment.
It was a huge blitz literally hundreds the first few minutes.
We will have to delay while I get them sorted out on the servers.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bryan
Can u set the time now? I mean, we may have other engagements and simply can't afford to sit waiting in front of the computer. Can you say, review the situation again 6 hours later, and then take it from there?

Bryan. This is a normal thing that happens when the server is overloaded with traffic. I have almost had Rolclub down 3 times today, but managed to fix the problem as i have my programmer online with me .LOL.
I was expecting this .
I am sure you will work it out soon. You might also need to change to a better dedicated server, becaue of the high traffic.

The site is back up and working okay now it seems.
For those still waiting, give it a go.

Why don't we invite Bryan to use our server instead? We have space to accommodate "Da Man".... he's working his muscles and mind out to set us all going...I hope many have patience to understand...though some may NEVER as always.... but go Bryan... you'll make it!!!

To order such servers, it takes about 24h. Then its also the DNS change that takes another 15min-48h, depending on the region your located.
This delay could be
1) Short: as if bryan will just fix the problem, and have the site going up and down like a JOJO coz off the traffic, and get as many as possible inn until he gets a better server.
2) Short: It could also be a database problem, like currupted files due to such traffic. I know, have had to deal with such many times over already here on Rolclub.
3) Longer, if Bryan chose to change the server again, to something more stable. Servers are costly, all from 70 usd a month to 10000 usd a month, depending on what kind of traffic they are suppose to deal with. In this case it seems like realy high traffic. DDOS is also a good thing to have protection against. And that does not come cheep aswell.
So i guess this test fase is alittle bit about site programming, how it works, aswell as server issue that has to bee correct for the ammount of traffic thats going to the site. SO i very well understand Bryan when he says, that this is a test for next 2 weeks.I would probably have done the same thing.

We will have to take the signup down for the moment, I am still contacting the server guys. Cannot see it being up within a hour or two because of time zones etc.
