Your assuming everyone in America that visits 7-11 for gas loves and cherishes GWB and hates Chavez. Not likely.

On September 27, 2006 7-Eleven announced its 20-year contract with Citgo was coming to an end and would not be renewed. 7-Eleven Spokeswoman Margaret Chabris said "Regardless of politics, we sympathize with many Americans' concern over derogatory comments about our country and its leadership recently made by Venezuela's president. Certainly Chavez's position and statements over the past year or so didn't tempt us to stay with Citgo." Later she said that "People are making it out to be more than it is" [4] [5] Citgo's Chief Executive Felix Rodriquez responded with a correction the following day, accusing 7-Eleven of exploiting the situation to score political points against Chavez, and pointing out that Citgo's decision to terminate the contract with 7-Eleven had been made back in July, for practical and economic reasons: “[The reports are] a manipulation because ever since the month of July have we announced that we did not intend to renew a contract with [7-Eleven], which was 20 years old and that was part of a bad business deal for Venezuela." [6] A statement found on Citgo's homepage [7] states, "The 7-Eleven contract did not fit within CITGO's strategy to balance sales with refinery production after the sale of its interest in a Houston area refinery."

100 to 1 by Jan says government source

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Returned from Europe for holidays with good reports. My contacts pieced together corroborating evidence from several government sources. One source says Shabibi is no longer waiting for security. Shabibi is concerned with troop pullout and the shrinking window to revive the economy. Another source says he set a target 100 by Jan 15. Is anyone else hearing anything of the sort? The recent rise is a good sign. I have a lunch meeting with some friends at the state dept today to try to confirm timelines. If you are gun shy just send me a private message. I will post what I hear only with your permission. Leonard

    Default About the LOP

Ok for those of you that are new to the Iraqi boards and want to learn more about the LOP just go to our "history" thread. Right above the first post in it on the header there is a seach function "Search this thread". Select it and then type in LOP and hang on, you will learn a lot and also understand why most get so upset when it is metioned. It has been debated time and time again. But this way you can see what it is all about!

Well, not really. I paid USD 800 for 1 Million, plus about USD 50 on shipping as I bought from a dealer in the US and I'm living in Europe. So my actual profit would be about USD 150. Okay - even that wouldn't be so bad if it was a Hyip- or MLM program. But it's not quite what I'd expect from this investment... so I keep hoping it's going to reval much higher!
