I don't mind you asking D-Day. This thing hasn't happened yet - so no one can provide "a link." That's like saying "prove" to me who will win the election before the election happens. We look at the indicators, dig through information, watch the news, call our banks, sources, etc., post our findings and make intelligent predictions. That is all we can do. So no, we can't provide you or anyone with a "definitive" link. Maybe it won't happen on Sunday or the next Sunday or even a month from now - but the indicators are that it WILL indeed happen, and it will happen in 2006. I'm sure you can agree that there has been plenty of data to support this. People know that it may not happen. They don't need you to tell them - It's a waste of post space and you come off as arrogant, whether you question is legitimate for not. JMO

Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

The simple answer to your "question" is - There is no link.
Most on this forum would agree that opinions and expectations are drawn from a huge variety of information, heresay, rumor, published facts, news releases, and the combined intellect and analysis of the members of this board.
No one has implied that there is ONE source that solidly announces the reval, nor that it is expected before it happens. If it were that easy there would be no need for this board. Rolclub is a think tank that is putting together, with as much accuracy as possible, all the information it can gather.
You, on the other hand, have chosen to dwell on the once issue that remains a variable in this endeavor so that you can eventually beat your chest, proclaim yourself correct, and subscribe some level of self worth that you cannot apparently obtain elsewhere in your life.
Take the plethora of information on Rol for what it is worth..good, hard research. If we are not correct about this weekend, then it is not because of foolish assumptions or wishes of member, but rather a hole in the information, which I can assure you will be filled quickly by the astute members of this forum.
So again, the answer is that there is no ONE link, but if you really want one, I would suggest you participate in this effort and go find it for us. I'm sure everyone would be much more appreciative of your input if it was productive to this effort.

Hmmm, let's think. IF Maliki had a link to say come Monday 'we will revalue to 1:1 with the dollar', how many of us would buy up millions of dinars, LOL.
D-Day, best you keep quiet.Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.
