Seems like all the naysayers would rather interrupt the major threads than post were they belong.

well, my post here was deleted, not sent to the archive, mind you, just ***POOF***
All my posts in the Dinar section were.
Deleting the posts does not make any difference, you still haven't gotten rich have you? And the Dinar is not going ot revalue anytime soon.

Stop Dreaming
It'll Never Happen.
"Imagine the average Iraq citizen instantly becoming a USD millionaire, and then using these riches to flee the country and live like royalty elsewhere in the region.
Or the range of weapons that the insurgents could then acquire with their billions of dinar/USD.
Or the fact that individual currency speculators holding in some cases billions of dinar, now magically worth billions of USD, would have a net worth almost equal to Iraq's entire GDP (estimated to be ~94 billion for 2005).
Ridiculous."

I feel for you sir! This has not been fun! But I do think that things are falling into place! As far as those militias go. They have stated numerous times that they will not be tolerated. So in time they will either lay down the weapons or join the military. Or be killed or put in prison! Law & order has not happened overnight. They should find Saddam's wife & daughter and who ever else is fueling this. Plus they should have let the world court deal with Saddam! IMO

Partly correct...imho...
You couldn't be serious about letting Hussein be tried by the world court, are you? They would let him off with time served and likely defend him in a multi-billion law suit against all the countries of the coalition. The Hague is a socialist, kangaroo court that hates the US and would do anything to undermine it. You do, however, make some valid points about the militias. They have had enough time to get on board with the reconciliation program. Annihilate 2 or 3 thousand of their most loyal members and they might decide to 'embrace' the program. Every week that goes by, the militias become more empowered, just like Bin Laden did during the 90's under Clinton's spineless policy towards terrosim against the US.

:Terry853 Hey GR. My job allows me to listen to Satelite radio and I have been following the news for a more than a few days following what is going on in Iraq and the rest of the world. I work in the oil patch and I am a believer in the peak oil theory! Iraq is a sure thing except for religion. They are going through a nasty phase, As are the Americans with the political battle going on. All the surrounding countries except for perhaps Iran want things to go back to business as usual. The only way the west can win this war IMO is to is to pump the Iraqi economy with dollars. RV and have 10 freighters full on luxury goods at the docks Out spend the enemy!! Much cheaper than WAR!! By the way. We should all lay off SGS. She has helped to make this a fun ride. Hang in there people-it will happen!! It seems to me that is the only way America will win.
