I, for one, enjoy all your optimisim, opinions and news posts as it keeps me up for this ride. IMHO, if anyone is offended, they can go back to the forum they came from. It wasn't until the last week or so that you started getting bashed by a few.

Please keep posting opinions.

All done; they are just looking for some "quiet" time! Even the programmed and scheduled meeting has been postpone due to interference from Iran and Syria!

- Agreeing on a timetable for the political (completed) - Formation of a committee to amend the Constitution (completed) - Ratification of the Law of the executive procedures for the formation of regions (completed) - Ratification of the Law of Investment (completed)
- Ratification of the Law Office of the Independent Electoral Commission.
(DONE)
- Ratification of the Law of the provincial elections and to set the date. (DONE)- Ratification of the Law of oil. (DONE)
- Approved a law abolishing the Baath Party. (DONE)
- Ratification of the Law of the authorities of the provincial councils. (DONE)
- Ratification of the Law of the flag and emblem and the national anthem. (DONE)
- Ratification of the 91 was issued by the Coalition Provisional Authority on the armed forces and the militias in Iraq. (DONE)- Discussion of a general amnesty, militias and other armed formations. (DONE)

2007
- The amendment of the constitution to complete its work.

February
- Formation of independent bodies according to the Constitution.

March
- A referendum on constitutional amendments (if that is required).

i believe its all been done but posibly not RATIFIED which could take one swell swoop of the pen. i suspect this meeting they had took care of the final discussions and agreed upon ratification. is there parliament today??
