Susie, what those few were suggesting was a form of censorship of what news is ok to be posted and what is not. There is no room for that kind of censorship on this forum. At times I may disagree personally with you slightly on your interpretation of things posted, but I will go to the mat to defend your right to post ANY and ALL articles about Iraq on here. We can skim through them and focus on the ones we wish to and pass over the others, but you never know when there is going to be a pearl buried amongst all the verbiage.

For those that wish not to see all these news articles, it's very simple. Either put susie on ignore so you don't see her posts, or leave. Your choice.

can we make these posts more informative, seems like 75 percent of all the posts are not speculation.... can we get more on track, and not so much bashing, and not so many posts of the same observation "the site is still down" etc, posted 1000 times - would make it easier to go thru, instead of having to spend 3 hours a day, just to see the basic rumors/speculation of the day

Al Qaeda Figure Killed

A key al Qaeda co-ordinator of foreign fighters has reportedly been killed by US forces in Ramadi, Iraq.

The US military said seven suspected insurgents were also captured during a raid deep in the heartland of the Sunni insurgency.

Troops destroyed the building in which the suspects had been hiding after finding a booby trap.

A spokesman said the insurgent killed had been a senior leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, responsible for providing weapons and financing to foreign fighters.

The man, who has not been named, is also said to have been behind the production and distribution of video clips and other propaganda.
