I apologise to anyone who has taken my rant out of context but I certainly don't and never would apologise to Focky.

You see every forum has trolls, vermin, low lifes, whatever you want to call them that slip through the net of the moderators and he's done that for over a year. You don't know the 'previous'.

Now I've made an awful lot of friends on this trip/adventure but you're not always going to please everyone all the time, that's life and I accept that. Sometimes things need to be said, I'm an honest guy simple as that and when something's not right I will say something. That's the way I am, take it or leave it.

Now I suggest we let this go and concentrate on finding out what happened at the meetings today.

This was resolved and both Adster and Hardwood made peace... the rest of you need to let it go ... this is a time we should all be working together instead of ripping ...takes a stronger person to do the right thing and make peace than spouting to get a few moments of fame in a forum for petes sake... I hope you don't mind Moto but I thought I would share your great view with everyone.

Moto was kind enough to point out that my coworker must be joking because if there was any truth to what he is saying Chase and the other banks wouldn't waste their time buying and selling.

So I'll just smile graciously while he hands me the couple million he said he would give me (IF he gives it to me).

Disclaimer: Please don't rip me apart as this is only info that I've come across and I will relate all that I have - Don't shoot the messenger. (Sorry, I'm use to having to defend myself from the other forum)

As some my know, I've just started with a new company a week ago. I just found out that one of my co-workers is an Iraqi. He has family in Iraq that also have a business.

I asked him what his thoughts were on the Dinar and he looked at me and laughed. He said "I hope you didn't buy any of that". When I asked him why, he said that it is worthless and that he just gave away - for free - several million.

I ask him if it was the old Saddam Dinar or the new and he said the new. I then asked why he didn't think anything was going to happen with it and he said - and I quote:

"Because the Dinar that it out right now is temporary". I then asked what did he mean? He said "The Dinar that is out is only so they can continue to do business for now. There is a new set of DInar in Switzerland that will come out when things settle down".

Now, I've only just meet him so I don't know how creditable he is yet but he said that he'll prove to me that it's worthless by giving me a couple million.

I'll try to find out more (and to see if he's pulling my leg) and as soon as I get more info I'll post it.

Keep in mind I'm on the Pacific Coast and I'm still at work (I don't get off till 9pm) so I'll only be able to reply sporadically so be patiant and I'll get back to and post if I get any more info soon.

The guy is full of bs, one million dinar sells for over $600 U.S. dollars in Iraq. Where did he get millions to give away? If they were worthless why does he hold so many? Is he in business with the terrorist that stole billions of dinar awhile back?

Even if they reprint they would exchange it in Iraq (where he has family) and he would at least get his $600 U.S. dollars back per million even if they lopped 3 zeros.

Sounds like one of saddam’s unhappy losers to me.
