Then whenI click on it it came up "Sorry not Available" and then I saw the date, That is when everything got me you know where. Thanks for confirming it with me and that I was not just seeing things.

WASHINGTON, July 26 (Reuters) - Iraq could sign joint ventures with international oil companies even before the nation's parliament enacts a long-awaited hydrocarbon law, Iraq's oil minister said on Wednesday.

Iraq's oil minister, Hussain al-Shahristani, met with representatives from international oil companies including Exxon Mobil Corp., BP Plc., Shell Oil Co. and Chevron Corp. The meetings at U.S. Energy Department headquarters were also attended by U.S. Energy Secretary Sam Bodman.

"We're not negotiating with any company for any of the specific fields yet," Shahristani said at a news conference with Bodman.

Shahristani said some terms could be signed before Iraq's parliament enacts its hydrocarbon law, which is expected by year-end.

Did I make a fool outa myself too?
Oops I guess I'm a fool too, it is the first paragraph...never mind

Actually, the democrats are not looking to strip funding and blah blah blah, they are simply thinking that it is time we stop putting 8 billion dollars monthly into iraq when money can be spent elsewhere like developing our own energy project so we won't be so dependent on other countries oil, getting the Iraq government off the nipple so they can fly out of the nest and have the Iraq government manage their own affairs so we can get the troops out of there. They have become to comfortable with us financing them and it is time for an exit strategy. While we are putting all this money into Iraq, America has been suffering for it. There is a reason why they are delaying and things are going slow, they want to continue sucking us dry until there is nothing to give. Besides, saddem was never an immediate threat. Bin Laden admitted he was responsible for the towers so why the heck we ever went to Iraq in the first place and not afghanistan? I was surprised from the get go. I was ok, time to kick some you know what and get bin laden but instead we went to Iraq? Makes me go hmmmm. We should have went after bin laden since i feel he was a immediate threat. I am glad the democrats won. May god bless us and the Iraq innocent people for a war that should have never taken place. To tell you the truth, why should they reval the dinar when they have us finacing them so much money monthly. I bet there will be a better chance of a reval when they see that we are saying enough is enough. It is time for the americans to take care of their own. Like a child who has grown up and needs to be kicked out of the house and find ways to support themselves.

GO IRAQ, our children, and GO DINAR!

Id like to say I appreciate munnys opinion ... as much as you guys dawg him its more of a realist based theroy as i hate to admit it. Although he does feel strong about it as being my way or the highway.... I do look at all the factors in play.... sgs post and opinions, wicapetta opinions, and paynes theroy have good analaysis on where this thing is heading and some of the things contradict to what munny is saying as of recently. I feel all of you are assets to the forum and are very intellegent as well as AD who has been gone for a few days. Its just another persons view. I feel as if there as been a plan since the begining and were at the final stages as to where this thing will play out....were in the fourth quarter of a big game here so to say. There are some days where you just feel this is it(heres my resignation letter to my job to go and shove it)...its first and goal and were gonna score that touch down...then all of the sudden the ball is snapped you gain a few yards wooooot 2nd down ball is snapped loss of a few yards ahhhh. 3rd down....we(iraq) are so close to the 3 feet from the endzone woooooot. 4th down....timeout (iraq).....delays delays delays...... seacracy, the big play shhhhh hush. Its like your on the edge of your seat 24/7 with this investment and the tension.... Its like the power was shut off and your waiting for it to come back on to see the outcome....... Democrats won...could be good could be bad.....good in the sense that if we pull out then iraq must stand on its own 2 feet and must do something...we the USA cant keep supporting there loly gaging lazy asses funding them money for projects...they need to RV to jump start the economy and give the iraqi hope for living ....Hell these guys dont even show up to vote on important issues in parlament and i feel as if most iraqis want us out anyhow.....maybe then the insurgents will feel as if its victory and the violence could very well stop and they can get on with it.
Bad in a sense that you have the extremeist that are like fack america and fack the way the western world thinks and there policies and fack what they did to try and take over our interests(as we still do behind closed doors) and we america will be in more danger and not as safe with a democrat in office.....but who knows maybe this is the key for making us rich cause now the republicans are like fack it let the media twist this all they want about how the rebulicans got rich of oil deals and all the oil tycoons in office and and this was a reason for the whole war who are suddenly the richest men on the planet....but hey if a high RV the USA paid for the war and our country is out of debt.... with all the 747 stacked with dinar right???.....GW public opinion will look good in some eyes for getting the counrty out of debt and some will look at is what polotics is all about scumbags looking at anyway possible to line their pockets and all the greed involved that will expose them to what its really about....... GAME ON
