Ok. Now it is noon Sunday 12-November here in Norway. I ad this post even before I have reed any of todays posts. This weekend have been so exciting, and I am so strained I do not even kvow if I dare read any of todays posts.

So before I jump in to it, I would like to say a BIG THANKS to shotgunsusie, adster, neno, and all of the other wonderful members at RolClub who have worked so hard to bring us the latest news.

I hope my wife and me are invited to the R/V party tho I do not have posted alot, and you do not know me to well.

Well, seems like we wait for another day. I can tell by the posts that people are tired and disappointed. It is the lack of logic in the function of the affairs of state in Iraq that seems so maddening to me. But, it's their country, we are all just along for the ride. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Thanks to all who pour themselves into this forum.

would you have prefered i left all that arabic in it and you have to read around all over the place to absorb it? talk about long, you would have been p.o.ed. no i didnt take the time to re-edit it and place the appropriate spacing between the paragraphs. i will try to do better in the future.

webinvestor, it seems you don't really have the intestinal fortitude for hardcore speculation like this. You said you can't get any rest and now your anxiety over the situation is pushing you to nitpick and complain. Perhaps you should give yourself (and us) a break and get your mind on something you enjoy instead of torturing yourself with this investment. Check up here once a day, and see if it has hit yet, if it hasn't move on to other things until it does, don't get upset and start taking out your insecurities on us please. We know you mean well, and would rather you enjoy yourself since this kinda stuff ruffles your feathers. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to stay secure and sane. Please consider my words.

thankyu for this post.....and to add, those of us who do post news articles may also be posting in other forums as well, it's time consuming and can get frustrating if there are alot of articles that we'd like to share, formatting, translation takes more time, i think a simple thank you would suffice instead of nitpicking, lets not forget on top of the posting, the time and effort it takes to go through dozens and dozens of news sites to find these articles.

LOL ....i think i know what the problem is, after 3 looooong years i noticed a pattern, when we are close (or think we are) some members have a difficult time when nothing happens, which i guess is understandable, I agree completely with something SGS said, that compared to the past news is very exciting, it shows promise, progress and hope, not just for us but the iraqis as well, for those who feel compelled to complain do some research, look back to posts from 3 or even just one year ago, things are truly looking up, in the meantime, take rumors with a grain of salt, and contribute some of your own research, it will help you to respect those who do this on a daily basis and respect the steps huge steps made towards progress in iraq, including the baby steps that bring us closer to an rv

I think I read a while back that maybe they would hand out the checks/cards while they were still only worth $7 because that might go over a little better than trying to hand out checks/cards worth 10k+ But the Iraqis would not be able to redeem them until distribution was complete....and THEN....wham!!!! reval city and everybody is happy.

Not a good idea! Have you ever tried to keep a check folded up in your pocket? If it stays there for any length of time at all, by the time you get it to the bank, a lot of the ink is smeared almost to the point of being illegible. A revalue at the same time the distribution begins, provided the people in line are sensible, would promote cooperation to get the distribution done more expeditiously, especially if they realize that this is merely the tip of the iceberg in distributions to come from oil reserves and such.
