Really? Well we can either take the risk or find another island I guess. Might need another poll, lol.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Count me in for two. My husband and I will count it as a second, no first honeymoon, seeing as how we have never had one. We'll be taking the kiddos to Disney right after school lets out so we will be leaving them with the grandparents during Cayman Island Time.
Sure don't want to wait 3 to 4 months to go though. How about 1.5 to 2 months after reval? Especially if it takes another 4 weeks. June sounds nice.

Hurricane's
Well, the entire area south of Flordia and over to Cozumel, etc are ripe for Hurricane's, but in some years there are none. And other years . . . .
Hurricane's are usually tracked way south in Ocean several days ahead of time. But if you already have airline tickets and hotel reservations, that's all out the window.
I had a mishap a few years ago travelling to an accountants convention in Puerto Rico 3rd week of August. No planes the day before - Hurricane Debbie. We were flying in a pattern that was unknown as little traffic, hit zero gravity and fell several hundred feet. Turned around and emergency landing in Houston. I was belted in but my seatmate and pal next to me was not, hit her head on the very top ceiling of the plane and subsequent concussion. I wasn't hurt physically, but a wreck whenever there is turbulance now. All 8 flight attendants were injured, one in a coma when we landed.
Thusly, I'm REALLY sensitive to flying during Hurricane Season.

Count me in! I may bring son and friends, not sure yet. Too bad on the timing - I would rather go in the winter anyway - it's nice enough here in the summer.

You are SPOT ON!! My ex-girlfriend and I met hurricane Gilbert head on in October 1989 and it was a nightmare eastern caribbean cruise!! We were walking on the walls and everyone was green with sea-sickness. Now I only take such trips in the springtime during March and April. Weather is a huge consideration. Of course that is for cruises and that is all I have done in the caribbean.
