Thread: Adster going to surgery.

Hi Adster,
I wish you the best with your surgery, and a speedy recovery. I will miss all of your great posts! This thing may just go before you have to go back to work, and you and the Mrs. can retire to the Villa!

Here's hoping you wake up after surgery to a big fat RV...

Good luck Adster! But won't the physical therapy folks wonder why you are smiling while they are having you go through rehab ??

Ok folks, he's woken up ...... so where's the RV????!!!!!! Any news for the patient please....?

Welcome Mrs. A. Not a lot of great news but would love some news as to Adsters progress. Hope all went well and he is doing well.

Thank you Maxib its nice to be allowed onto the laptop for a change!!

After a gruelling 5 hour op, they wheeled him back up to the ward and his first words through the oxygen mask were 'I'd love a cheese and pickle sandwich', so I knew then he was going to be fine....!

Apparently they were on the verge of a blood transfusion, but thankfully he didn't need it in the end. Left him last night heavily sedated with morphine and in lots of pain, but the consultants say they are pleased adn that it all went successfully well.

Thanks to everyone for their concern and good well wishes, you're a great bunch x

Mrs. A, tell Adster we're glad he's doing fine and we look forward to his speedy recovery. He is sure missed here and we look forward to his return!

Am pleased to report that he looks better today. Although painful, they're making him carefully walk around, so I'm sure he will be back home very soon - so in the meantime I'll try not to get too used to the tv remote!

Just tell Adster to get rested. We can wait on the r/v with him........Just Kidding, but he does have is own stash. Everything is still positive.
