Susie, you couldn't be taking him to a better place for this than where you are going, at least from our personal experience. My dad was at M.D. Anderson over 20 years ago, and the people there are magnificent at what they do, and to think of the progress that they have made since then. My prayers are with you and your family. Check pm for something that might be of help and interest.

put our mom on the prayer lists as well please. her lungs are failing and she needs the strength to change her lifestyle. she is in the hospital for a few days, jack is spending the night with her tonight in the room on a recliner.

still waiting on m.d. anderson to contact us with a care plan and growing very impatient.

p.s. jack has gained 4 pounds!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Four pounds is AMAZING! 15 years ago I gained 20 pounds getting my grandpa to eat to keep his strength up during chemo. Technology is fantastic now too. ~Tiffany~
