I had missed this thread... I am so sorry to hear about all the bad things going on in your family! It seems everything has to come at the same time also...
I hope your mom will recover (I know the worry as my parents are that age also) and that your brother will answer to the chemo. And that YOU will have the strength to keep going!

I'm back from vacation a week now and caught up with this thread just this morning.... glad to note you are alright yrself... Good to notice the overwhelming compassion resonating from fellow hearted members we have in ROLClub...Chin Up my dear and may the path be lighted before you.... we all Woot with YOU!!!

On a few occasions i have spoken with Jack; each and every-time, he sound cheerful and enthusiastic at gaining some weight and readying himself for further treatment.

I spoke with him about keeping his focus on getting better and eating well; he mentioned that they are really providing all the goodies for fattening him up for sure! The last call a couple days back, he said that he had gained five pounds, a very good sign!

We prayed and shared some and we need as a family of rolclub to continually life them up in prayer. I have not spoken to Susie as she is really busy with taking care and visiting with her mother Bebe, please keep her in your prayers as well!

Please also remember Sierra, coolhand009 daughter and a young lady name Christi, she was the wedding coordinator for my youngest daughter and best friend to my youngest son and his wife Sarah. There are many needs in all our families and friends as well have loved ones and care about them. Let us not forget all of the blessing He has bestowed upon us and always give Him the Praise!

Susie, you know me and that I hardly ever put out positive vibes and that is because I save them for times like this. I sincerly hope that all the positive energy everyone and myself sends out to your family members is used to recover them to 100%

SGS, it seems to be a trying few months for you and your family. I hope all is well with your mom, and now your brother! I will include you and yours' in my prayers as well.

it seems i will be traveling to houston with my brother for his cancer treatment on monday as my mother went with god a little after 11pm tonite. her left lung completely failed and wasnt even registering on the machine and her blood pressure had dropped dangerously low. the drugs they had her on eventually were the only thing keeping her alive and they were administering massive amounts of those drugs which caused her kidneys to fail along with the lung it was just too much on her.

she is now with my other brothers and my daddy watching over us. it was her wish that i go with jack to houston so i am going and we are having a service sometime in the future when we can all attend. she wanted to be cremated so we are doing that and my ashes will eventually be buried with hers in the same family space. she is my best friend.
