Ok, people excuse my rant but I'm tired of seeing the Monkey model everywhere so I'm going to show him why we're expecting big returns.

1. If the dinar was valued at 31 cents after 10 years of sanctions when we went in this time, then why can't it repeg at .68 or higher now that most of the debt is forgiven?

2. They have stated that Iraq has sold more oil this year than any other year in history and this is without all these big oil companies waiting to go in.

3. Since everyone in the world wants what Iraq has (oil), then why can't Iraq just up and say that we can have it but not until we have a better dinar rate. How many countries would give them grief? Answer, NOT ONE!!!!

4. Since they have already said that a higher exchange rate would only help the Iraqi's since their only export is oil so it is negliable, then I would think that the other countries would support it if it helped the Iraqi's rebuild cheaper.

Munny, you can count beans until the cows come home and your still going to be scratching your head after this ends asking yourself " how did they do that ". If you want to know how just read Paynes Marshall Plan thread and I mean Study it and I guarantee you the Munkey model will change once again. OK, I'm done ranting. Sorry.

I never mentioned that small denoms should be available now. That's why I said it would be "a give away" that reval is coming. But I was asking how will it work. Because the country will nedd small denoms same day once RV occurs. Will they have them available during RV day?

"IF" it revals at, let's say, 1:1, then they better have the small denoms ready let me put it that way to ya. However, my take is that they will introduce smaller denoms as they slowly change the rate. Although it would be a big conspiracy if there were loads of small bills in a vault somewhere. Just to think, the USA has Area 51 in Roswell. So why can't Iraq have lots of small bills in a vault that "NOBODY" knows about.

This is a secret, don't let the cat out of the bag, or Elvis will be unemployed. OOooppps, did I actually type that?

More to the point, I feel your correct, Banks will issue the smaller denoms as businesses and custumers exchange and with draw cash.

While Iraq hopes to enter the electronic age, Its still mostly a cash based society. Little education and past fears will take years to overcome.

Your bang on the money there Mike. Once a reval hits, who the heck will want small denoms here? Not me or you. Im done buying and will only be exchanging now...........At a much higher rate I might add.
