Background Information

The Groom Lake Base is this top-secret military base located 90 miles north of Las Vegas (which is in Nevada). It's in grid number 51 of the Nevada Test Site, so it's called Area 51. The United States Air Force Flight Test Center controls the base. It's best known for testing exotic aircraft and weapons. The base was created in 1954 as a place to test the secret U-2 spyplane that was used to fly missions over the Soviet Union. Then it started to house the SR-71, A-12 and D-21 drone. The F-117A was tested there, also. In the 1980's the base increased in size, along with the runway (which increased to the present 6 miles). Then, mysterious lights began to appear, and armed guards known as the cammo dudes started patrolling the border. The government closed many viewpoints from which the Area 51 base could be seen. In 1989, a "physicist" named Bob Lazar claimed that he worked at a base south of Area 51 and also claimed that Area 51 was testing extremely advanced aircraft and UFO's they got by trading with the aliens. Since then, Area 51 has been thought to be the test center of captured UFOs because of the lights in the night sky.

I have watched many programs on TV about 'Area 51' ... planes fly out of Las Vegas to get there.

I agree, Roswell is in New Mexico.
Just this past week there was several 'UFO' programs on TV and the one about Roswell was one of them.

Can't blame you for the sarcasm Goldraker. Joey's professor realy does exist and he really did say the 14th of Dec. As is obvious to everyone there was no big jump in value. The one who was hurt the most (emotionaly) was Joe. He doesn't read the forum so he has no idea if there was any taunting from the members here or not- though there hasn't been much really. Recently, after completing this past semester at Duquene and arriving home for semester break Joey and his dad visited Oscar before Christmas. Oscar asked him if he got a chance to speak with the professor before coming home, as both Oscar and I emailed Joe some questions we hoped he would be able to get answers to, such as: why didn't it happen; what, if anything, was supposed to occur that would trigger the Revalue, etc. Joe made it clear that he was so upset with the professor (due to the RV not happening) that he didn't want to talk to him about it- anymore. Oscar tried to smooth things over by saying that a lot of people had honestly believed that certain things would happen by certain dates that would usher in the Revalue (again, as is obvious to all) and it didn't happen as they had predicted either. Joe's response was along the lines of... "He shouldn't have told me those things unles it was going to happen like he said." He made it clear that he didn't care to discuss it anymore and that is how Oscar left it at that point. So, there won't be any more posting from us regarding any word from the professor. We deserve your scorn- but we're glad not everyone is getting their jollies by throwing all this up in our faces. haha, the joke is on us... real funny, ehh? Just the same-

Area 51

"Area 51" is a part of an off-limits military base near Groom Dry Lake in Nevada. UFOers are sure it is used to hide aliens from us. The state of Nevada recently designated a barren 98-mile stretch of Route 375, which runs near Area 51, as the Extraterrestrial Highway. Such a move is no doubt proof of a government attempt to throw us off the track and think there is not a cover-up when there is one. This is a cover-up of the cover-up, typical of government agencies when dealing with sensitive information regarding UFOs and aliens.

Since you can be shot if you try to trespass on the military base where Area 51 is located, UFO tourists must view the sacred ground from a distant vantage point. Many do this, hoping for a glimpse of a UFO landing. Apparently, our government has a treaty with the aliens that allows them to fly into this area at will, as long as we can experiment on them and try to duplicate their aircraft. You don't really think that any human could have come up with the idea of the Stealth Bomber, do you?

Skeptics don't doubt that something secret is going on in Area 51. And what is going on may be more sinister than building secret aircraft or developing new weapons. "Sixty Minutes" did a segment where Leslie Stahl suggested that Area 51 might be an illegal dumping ground for toxic substances. If so, Area 51 might turn out to be hazardous to your health in more ways than one. Several former workers at Area 51 and widows of former workers have filed lawsuits against the government for injuries or death resulting from illegal hazardous waste practices. So far the government has been protected from such suits because of "national security." In fact, the government does not even acknowledge the existence of the base known as Area 51. Such denials, of course, do little more than provide more ammo for those who claim there is a government conspiracy to cover up just about anything it's ever been involved in.

Don't worry about it none, the only ones that know for sure what and when are the big dogs in Iraq and they will let us in on it when they are ready. I for one understand you all were just passing info that was told to you. As do most folks on here. If they hear something that sounds feasible, they pass it on and then the digging starts. If noone passed on the info they had, this would be a pretty boring place, don't you think?
