Can someone fill me in here? I keep hearing about a RV party in Laughlin, what happened to the Caymans?

Also, why is the PM turned off?

    Thanks

Hullo EVERYONE... The PM as I can see it isn't off the plug but if Admin did it, it is for and yet again, a security measure...in our interests as well as YOURS... so hang on in there, thanks.

Thanks Tiffy and franny and all those that liked "elephant-rides"... jeez, it sure felt like those Hatari Days... !!!

Yes, thrilling it sure was ad esp. when one gets to ride alone a BIG thingy... while most just had to be cradled in and managed by a trainer-guide...

Yup, more pics will be added when I get the chance but later, I'm not back yet where I normally am in Europe, am still on vacation in Asia....Yeehaaahhhhhh!!!

Hi folks. I have been a long time lurker on here, and this is my first post. First, let me say that this site bursts with optimism. We all want the reval to happen yesterday. However, we need to keep in mind that it is in Iraq's best interest to appreciate the dinar slowly. Keep in mind that this is an artificial rate; supply and demand does not govern the dinar currently. When it hits the world market, that is when true gains will be made. Iraq needs stability right now. Turning it loose on the forex before stability is achieved would only serve to further the choas right now.

Don't get me wrong. I am an investor also. However, Iraq is going to do what is best for Iraq, not us. A slow appreciation is the plan, and we are seeing it before our eyes. What is so wrong with being millionaires in 2 to 5 years?

I just get a kick out of those that post here, trying to decipher little clues, like differences in the CBI website and reading more into press releases than what is actually there. Don't get me wrong, the world (and this site) needs dreamers too. However, it needs realists also to keep things balanced. The Shotgun Susie's of the world keep things entertaining.

Anyway, this is just my opinion. I bought in for the long term, anyway. When Iraq is somewhat stable economically and security-wise, they may throw open the gates. But, until then, I'll take a 5 point movement a day. It wasn't too long ago that there was zero movement. There is no doubt that this investment will pay off, but I highly doubt overnight. If I am wrong, I will be happily suprised.
Ya know, its funny how many guys/gals come along to little ol rolclub to offer their wise and realist opinions. Usually, its someone with between 1 and none in the posts department, but hey look you have 5 whole posts. What I think we really need is a Thread titled "Realists or anyone from another forum that wish to rag on Susie or 'the dreamers' here is your rant thread"....

Only trouble for you guys is that none of us would read it, so you come in here to lecture us. You guys are like the people who go to a party and just sit in the corner talking about how much fun none of us should be having, since you aren't. Guess what, people here are having fun with this investment despite you, not because of you.

It is funny how many people have come over here to Rolclub from IIF to offer their "insight", when in fact it is to try and pilfer information from the very people that they chide and scoff at. Ya, you know who you are. Do you think you can come over here and write nice things to these people at rolclub and then go back to IIF and say what fools these people at rolclub are and have no one notice? Just a bunch of two face SOB's. You want the dreamer's information so you come here and then make fun of them over there. Sad thing is there isn't any new information at IIF because you ran everyone off that was doing anything worthwhile. Only people posting anything are those that steal it from other places (except for DaRock or other Rolclub people). When rolclub went down it was like watching paint dry at IIF. Same old BS.

So, in short next time try just posting your information without the personal attack. If it is worthwhile it will hold up without the jab at the other person.

I went to Laughlin's website to see what it was like. No offense to the good people of Laughlin but why would I go there when I could be in the heart of Vegas or the Caymans. I just don't see it

Lauhlin is way too small for all on Rolclub. Vegas would be the place, Laughlin will run out of penthouse suits but there are many more in Vegas.......

What are the temperatures in the Caymens in March????
