I understand the CBI holds daily auction
But who determines How much dinar would be bought back at each auction
Assume that on an auction day no bank shows up to offer to sell their dinars, what can the CBI do if they are determined to buy dinars back? Lower the rates as an incentive until they find a taker?
    Thank you
These are very good questions. There are private banks in Iraq, but most are state owned. i.e. controled by the CBI. My opinion is that the state owned banks are being dictated to by the CBI and have little choice as to how much is transacted and at what price. The auction tells us how many banks participated but not which ones. It may be reasonable to assume that the privately owned banks are able to "run their own program". And may not be selling their dinar to the CBI. Thank You.

    Nice quote Mr. Knowles,

If you are privately owned, maybe by an outside firm from another neighboring country. Why would you sell them back to the CBI?

Makes you wonder, how many new private banks are currently set up?

I wasn't sure where to put this, I didn't want to put it in rumor (because it's not a rumor) and to me it's news from the bank I went to so here it is
Last Friday Jan 19, a friend and me went to Chase bank in Beaumont, Tx to buy more dinars and open an account.
The lady opening our acount asked me how much I wanted to open my account with and I told her minimum amouont for now until the dinars revalued. When i said that to her she then asked me and my friend "What's up with that, the dinars, all of a sudden Exxon people started coming in this week like crazy buying dinars"
My friend and I looked at each other and smiled, because to us exxon people starting to buy dinnars the way she said was good news to us.
Anyway just wanted to let everybody know of our banking experience and the news we had learned.
WE WILL BE RICHER THEN OUR WILDEST DREAMS
