ACCESSIONS
Iraq
A request for accession under Article XII was received by the Director-General of the WTO on 30 September 2004. A Working Party was established at the General Council meeting on 13 December 2004. Iraq submitted a Memorandum on the Foreign Trade Regime in September 2005, Foreign Trade Regime in September 2005, followed by Replies to Questions raised by Members in November 2006. The Working Party has not yet met.

Accession working parties established for Afghanistan, Iraq
The General Council, on 13 December 2004, established working parties to examine, respectively, the membership applications of Afghanistan and Iraq.

THIS IS MY FIRST POST ISN'T IN THE RIGHT SPOT AND NOT COPIED RIGHT ,BUT THE WEBSITE LOOKS LIKE IT SAID IRAQ IS HALF WAY TO COMPLETING WHAT THEY NEED.
THEY NEED TO FINISH 6-9..

I read the WTO web site about 2 weeks ago and it use to say, "Last updated January 17 2007" It does not say that any more and I can't find any information on Iraq and the WTO.....

There were a couple of articles that had good information in the last week but, I do not know where they went....

From those articles, Iraq and WTO have had at least one meeting, but the website is not updated.
