Iraq's New Oil Law May Affect World Markets
All Things Considered, February 27, 2007 · The new oil law that Iraq's cabinet approved Monday is politically significant, says that oil revenue will be shared among the provinces or regions based on population. That was a key concern for Sunnis. But the legislation would also have big implications for oil companies around the world.
Michele Norris talks with Saad Rahim, an analyst for PFC Energy, a consulting firm that does business with major oil companies.

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face... then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?"
A little fellow shouted, "Cause your feet ain't empty."
