Thread: Breaking News!!

The whole bit about dinars not being made available to banks, accounts being closed for no reason, and other rumors about new denominations and coins could possibly add up to something...A REVALUE!

I usually check ebay and even ebay auctions for dinars has dried up! The number of auctions has been cut in half since March 20th! Again another coincidence.

I hope everyone has all the dinars they will need and to be sure to make copies of their notes before taking them to the bank or wherever for exchange so to possibly avoid the switch or some excuse about your dinars being bad, etc.

i purchased my dong from ali-nice guy.

From my post yesterday:

Ordered Dinars today from the Halifax and later got a call to say that they couldn't supply the amount I had ordered, as they didn't have the denominations. I would have to round up or down. So, it looks like they only have 25,000's available.

Todays update:

Have just called Travelex to make sure that my order has gone through. She informed me that the original order was cancelled and the new order (rounded up) is is progress but, because it was ordered after 2.00pm yesterday I can't collect until Monday.

I asked her if it is definately going through and she said that as far as she can tell it is but to call back after 2.00pm, as by then they should have received a list of any orders not processed.

She told me that yesterday they didn't have any 10,000 notes but should have some today. Don't know if she is right about that.

I also asked her if it there would be any difficulty in buying dinars in the future and she replied that she didn't think so at all. However, I doubt she knows what is going on so, that statment probably doesn't hold water.

Will let you know if my order has gone through later today.

They said that the are struggling to get any dinars currently, They are going to call me back tomorrow and tell me whether or not I can go ahead and order from them directly. They don't have a home delivery service so if they have any I will have to pick them up from my nearest airport (Doncaster/Sheffield in South Yorkshire) in my case.

Ok, just got off the phone with a Travelex rep and she just told me that there are no Iraqi Dinars avialable anywhere!!

I asked her if she knew why and she said that they had just dried up and they simply couldn't get hold of any at all. She couldn't explain it to my satisfaction but I guess some of the minions in these companies just aren't privvy to the pertinent info.

Thanks for the info Steve. It is reports like these that makes me come to the forum every morning before the DayJob. lol

The plot thickens. The dinar is not listed on the Travelex site. I called the London office in the Trocadero who said they have not got it listed but I could try the airport I was travelling from. So I tried both London Gatwick Bureau's who stated they have not got the dinar on their system and haven't done in the past.

Very strange. None of the people I spoke to had much of an idea.

You know as well I, that when the dinar rates go up, they will get educated real quick by us, the Investers. lol Look what we have done to the Banks that do sofar. God Help Them.
