Has anybody besides me thought that Sadr is setting himself up to be the next Saddam Hussein? I can see it now....the US and it's allies pull out of Iraq and Sadr turns loose his militia (the largest in Iraq I think) and we will see a major bloodbath and in the end he will be on top and in charge of everything.

Well, if that's the case then Iran will control the oil since Sadr is a puppet for Iran.

Thats exactly his angle. Not so much the next Saddam, but more like the new Ayatollah of Iraq. Just like Iran, he would be in for life and be the real authority behind the scenes, but the people would elect his hand picked candidate for president.

If that happens though, all hell will break loose in and around Iraq. Sunni's vs Shiites, Kurds vs Turks and surrounding countries taking sides. A veritable Muslim smorgesboard of killing and bloodshed.

The page yesterday said it was under construction. Today I can load the page but I can't translate it. I've always been able to translate sotaliraq. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I have been receiving the same page under construction since yesterday afternoon as well. I can find links into 11-04 Arabic also with none of the translation to English capabilities. It could be wishful thinking on my part, but maybe there is going to be very important news coming out that they are trying to control.
