Yeah, but the parts that concern me are:
But years of neglect have resulted in shut-ins in oil fields, significantly reducing their output. That reduction has been magnified by repeated insurgent attacks on the country's vast oil infrastructure, including pipelines and refineries.
If companies felt safe sending workers to Iraq and investing money there, Iraq could again match or exceed production levels it had before the first Gulf war, Mobed said.
this is pretty nice:Discounting such attacks, however, most of the oil exports are generally routed through the south -- where pipeline capacity is much greater -- and loaded on to tankers.Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

i myself am under the belief that if you dont have money for a big screen or a radio you will be out on the street causin trouble. and if you had at one time and now dont and are told that it is because of the invasion then you are bound to cause trouble where the invador is concerned. all those things just say it will need to change in order to update and get to that stage. i suspect giving the ppl back their purchasing power is going to have a very great affect on these people.

Banks characterized activity eligibility in Iraq since the 1990s and there are a number of obstacles in its tracks banking, private banks suffering from the result of modest financial resources and limited ability to interact with the data bank of modern technology.

But...the CBI isn't in the Green Zone...is it...as I read an article that the Ministries are scattered about...outside the Green Zone....So, power was only out in the Green Zone and as been restored after a few hours....They should have gone to Sears...they have portable generators on sale...
ONE Question...
When the rate is changed it will be pegged against the dollar so it can not float up or down but only be adjusted +- 4%...Isn't that correct???
So, if the come in at a low rate they are more or less stuck there without re-applying to the IMF and repeating this whole process over again....
Why hasn't anyone mentioned that???
