well
Just thinking out side the box here, but didn't Buffet recently "donate" a ton of cash to Bill Gates? Is there any Microsoft connections in Iraq or Vietnam? I know it's thin...probably nothing. Just tossing ideas

Microsoft
Bill Gates did go to a meeting in Jordan a couple of months ago about getting Iraqs computer systems up to snuff with all his software. It was discussed here. I am sure others can recall better than I. But I do remember it being discussed.

Bill Gates / Microsoft held a major training seminar to create 30,000 new IT jobs for Iraq. I believe it was in January and held in Dubai.
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is not connected with Microsoft (officially)
Warren Buffet was said to have given 85% of his wealth to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation..I remember laughing thinking of how generous that sounds....until you count what he will have after his IQD RV.
Bill Gates also has stated that he will step down from Microsoft in 2008 to concentrate on his foundation whose purpose is to help others.
I do know that Bill and Melinda were recently in Vietnam to give $240,000 from the foundation for the cervical cancer vaccine ( really for venereal warts)( which I personally am against forced vaccination of very young girls)
Microsoft and other major companies want the VN workforce to assemble high end products like Cannon copiers rather than junk items.
Microsoft is also making deals with them to only use his legitimate software rather than pirating.

[QUOTE=lndmn_01;198713]Indmn,
Is your position on this something that is documented somewhere, you know a link of sorts? Not questioning your sincerity, only the validity of your opinion. Without official documented writings, that is all your reponse is...an opinion. Does anyone KNOW FOR SURE, we won't have hassles when there is finally, (one day, sometime in the future, before we are all old and frail, unanble to spend it), a reval? All I have ever seen is opinions. So...
Once again INDMN, I am not takin a shot at you, just looking for that documented info...if it actually exists. Otherwise, my take is it really could all be too good to be true...as the banks may just shaft us somehow....maybe?
