The stuff inside (I don't wanna know what it is but it smells good to flies apparently) attracts the little buggars and they crawl in, but can't get out. In a few days there are literally hundreds of 'em in one of these so you'll need to get 4-5 of these bags. Makes a huge difference in as soon as a day or two..
If they do have a mating season, it's now. These flies are going at it everywhere!! (they are simply not bashful!) I will be at Home Depot tomorrow for sure....if you think of the name please let me know! I have no problems describing things to the salespeople....but I usually come across like a moron!! Kind of like trying to sing a reggae song for the people at Blockbuster music when you have no clue of what the title is or the artists name!! LOL

Monday afternoon, I was vacuuming. (which is so news worthy, probably deserves it's own thread) My daughter was napping and my three year old was "helping" me with the light cleaning. While vacuuming, I casually bent over and picked up my door mat to clean underneath it. At that very second, my son start running around the kitchen table screaming his head off. I look down, and to HORROR was the WORLD'S LARGEST WOLF SPIDER (they call them this, because they are indeed comparible in size to a wolf) chasing my son. I, in total freak out mode, start chasing the WOLF spider. So picture it if you will, a three year old little boy being chased by a spider, followed by a grown woman chasing the spider....ALL OF US SCREAMING OUR HEADS OFF. (yes, the spider was also screaming....it has a very icky distasteful scream to match its appearance)

So finally it stops, parks it's ugly self in my kitchen. I immediately starting looking around for some type of cleanser that sprays..i.e. Scrubbing Bubbles, 409, something of that sort. My three year old, who is more level headed than I, tells me to simply use the vacuum. (duh!)

HERE IS WHERE IT GETS EVEN UGLIER!!!

In the half of a second that it took me too turn around and turn the vacuum back on......it vanished....it was no longer there....GONE!!!!!!!!!! I ran to the phone and called Terminix (yes, they are on speed dial) and DEMANDED they stop what they are doing and come to my house. Well, they didn't like my tone, and won't be here until Friday!!!!!!!!!

So, now I am here living in this house of horrors, knowing that the WORLD'S LARGEST WOLF SPIDER is somewhere in here lurking with it's hideous long icky legs!! How is one supposed to sleep!?!?! I have not been back to the kitchen.....what if Terminix doesn't find it???

So, any advice, kind words of wisdom, thoughts....would be appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance!!
