Thank you Nidya. My signature used to say we are on this ride to the finish, not just the top of the hill. I really had no idea how high and how many hills there would be. But I have faith that this investment will be a financial gain for many if they just hold the course. With so much good news coming at us daily, one would surmise that we are closer than ever. That said, having followed parliment all last year, I think no one has any real clear thoughts on the timing. Best to you. Warrior

Hi Warrior ad good to hear from you too... how is the Western Front looking up by your side?
It is indeed quiet but with the current (as has been without fail...) blowups and short talk on the future outcome, waiting is the only option and is best done quietly too for most with a heavy grain on patience.
Its soon New Year on another Eastern Front where crackers & fireworks flares up!!!
The year of the Rat is ratching up good buck$ for those who saved well... for the coming season...
2007 has been a great one for me and wife and esp. with travels too and 2008 started well as anticipated.
We just returned from our golfing holidays in the Algarve, Portugal but no Marlin catches as it is the wrong season to do so... I was there to learn of this...sigh but we had great swings and lots to see and view... Sevilla is a spectacular place to drive to but parking is horrendous!!!
Wishing everyone another Happy and Prosperous New Year with the Chinese Calendar.
... toured Sevilla with this coach from Portugal with awesome dry temps averaging a cool and sunny 22 degrees only!!!

YogiBrood, you got way too much time on your hands.. ( and evidently way too much $$$)..What a most wonderful trip it must have been.. I am going to retire this year and will soon be in the Virginia mountains. I was so cold last week that I thought my ears fell off. This week it is in the 60's.. It has been great fun learning about Iraq, watching all the frustration concerning failed for sure RV dates...If and when it does move sharply, I will be blown away. What a fine day that will be. Keep this ship on course, we will see land anytime now.. Best to all, Warrior

....aaand I thought I lost my parked car at the airport upon returning....
I knew something was utterly wrong, I should know as I was the one who parked the car but my wife, under the wet & stormy winds and it was dark too, insisted the car is just around that corner of the building and with finger pointing adamantly....
We left at the same name and arrived at the same name too for the airport but the terminal, in fact the entire airport was a new one that was located some 3 kilometers away altogether.... that was a shocker upon returning we landed on a completely new airport opened three days prior!!!
Was glad to track down my parked car in an almost deserted but secured parking lot at Charleroi in Belgium. Glad to note your ears stood up!!!
When you plan to visit this side of Europe, let me know, a pinta from a Guinness awaits and hopefully, your retirement sees good life & fruits too like I have been going through and its still on course since my retirement back in '86.
Cheers mate!!!

Great pictures Yogi Brood. Hope your retirement stays great. I retired from the P.O. in 2003 and waiting for the rv to happen, so we can pay off debts, help family and visit our roots. My ancestry goes back to Andalucia,Spain, France and Italy, though I was born in NY. My husband was born in Cuba and his roots are from the Canary Islands. We want to see all these places. Hopefully, soon before its too late. We shall continue to wait patiently. It is almost here. Good Luck to you and the RC Family.

Interesting Des,
I always wanted to go to Portugal, and seeing your pics makes me want to go even more. Love the old world look of country, same as Spain, which is as close as I got to Portugal. Looks like you had a great time, glad you got to enjoy visit, was it your first trip to Portugal?
Good luck to all, Mike

bump................
Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
