Pat, can't take anymore of this snow. My husband has had it. He had to pay some guys that came looking for work to clean up our driveway and the front of the house and this isn't even our house. The landlord lives out on the island and works, so he is not available to do it. My husband is 73 yrs. old and really shouldn't be doing this and neither should I but I try to help when he is not around cause he has a fit when I shovel snow. No more snow & ice please God.!!! How are you doing? Hope everyone else is OK.

Good to hear from you. I live in Queens County, NY and I just heard that were getting more ice, snow & rain again tomorrow Sat. We are surrounded by water since this is Long Island and I have the Long Island Sound on the North and the Atlantic Ocean on the East and South and the River on the West. Can you imagine if we ever had a sunami here. lol Wow, nowhere to run. We are moving to Florida after the RV happens and we straighten out our affairs. Hurry up, Iraq. Move your a***s already.

question
a friend sent the follow letter to me. i don't know who is steve or who is ray. so i'm curios about some answers from you all here.
what do u think or know about that?
Well folks, this is the type of news I have been waiting for. Please all take a minute and thank Ray and his hard work and his dedication to this site.
I am going to point out some key words here. First major one is this: "Well today, he called my friend and told him that yesterday and today in several newspapers in Baghdad, they had printed instructions to all the citizens on how to cash in their dinar for the new dinar after the revaluation."
The next huge news refers to a rate. Here is what was said on Iraqi TV: "During his talk on TV, he also mentioned that the new rate would be around $3.40!!!"
Thank you Ray. Folks, if this type of real news and facts do not brighten your day, then I am not sure anything will. This is coming from real Iraqi people, from real Iraqi TV and real Iraqi newspapers.
I told you guys that Ray and his contacts were simply the best of the best. Well, he just now proved it. This type of news makes my little Finish Line Part 5 post meaningless.
Steve,
I just got off the phone with one of my Iraqi friends here in town. He has a good friend here that is from Baghdad. His friend is presently unemployed and is looking for work. In his spare time, he watches Iraqi TV and checks the internet for news back home concerning the dinar and the revaluation. He has dinar and believes it will revalue and wants to stay up with all the current news there. Well today, he called my friend and told him that yesterday and today in several newspapers in Baghdad, they had printed instructions to all the citizens on how to cash in their dinar for the new dinar after the revaluation. They gave no date. Recently, it was on tv as you and I reported, and now it is in newspapers. To me that speaks volumes.
Also, he saw on Iraqi TV today the Minister of Justice. He was talking about crime in Iraq and how a lot of it was due to the economy being down and people not having the things they need. He came out and said that after the dinar is raised, that this will help the economy and he sees the crime rate going down. He even mentioned that he would try to get money after the RV to open up schools inside the prisons to educate the prisoners so that would help the crime rate stay down. During his talk on TV, he also mentioned that the new rate would be around $3.40!!! This is coming from someone that isn’t even involved with the Finance ministry. I think we are very close and I feel very anxious like the people of Iraq do now. I think we need to be patient a little longer and let it come to us.
Blessings,
Ray
What makes this very significant is that this is real news and they would not in a million years tell the people on Iraqi TV that it was going to re-valuate very soon if indeed it was months away. Not going to happen. To me, this is huge and extremely important and very positive that I have ever hear.
Ray, you knocked this one out of the park my friend. How about we all do Ray a huge favor and keep it on our site only.
Ray and I will keep you posted with additional news as we get it.
Blessings to you all.
Steve

HAPPY HOLIDAYS To EVERYONE
Greetings,
Been a long time since stopping by this forum, and as we are all still hanging on to our dinar dreams, it sure has been a longer than expected time line for this dinar restoration we have all been waiting on. As the rumurs fly, almost of a daily basis, it is difficult to be encouraged and then let down again every day, so I have gotten tired of it along with most.
Time sure does fly, so I just wanted to wish everyone the best, miss you all, and I hope and pray that we will all see this dinar dream come true before another year passes. The world economy is on the brink of total economic collapse, and nothing anyone can do will change that from what I see, other than keep kicking the can down the road as we have seen is only solution government seems to come up with.
The markets are uncertain, and this makes it more difficult than ever to earn any money when everyone is in a state of survival in these tough times. I hope everyone can hang on just a little bit longer, as I do now feel we are as close as ever, just too much has happened which cannot be reversed, and with U.S. being thown out of Iraq this month, the only thing which can save Iraq from slipping back into an all out breakdown is to share the wealth with its people, something that has been said over and over, yet not implemented to date. Wealthy people do not blow themselves up, so all we can do at this point is hope for the best and hope Iraq has enough sense to get this over to survive the growing unrest and potential revolutions we are seeing worldwide.
Happy Holidays to all, Mike
