Well, my first day on here as a visitor I saw someone with the screen name "texaslonghorns", and thought to myself, no no no no, so here I am the proverbial yin to longhorns yang LOL. seriously, i'm an aggie because my father is a longhorn, and i'm a cowboys fan because my father was a houston oiler fan, just a little bit of a rebel in me is all.

Ya know, it never entered my mind until one day when
I was trying to sign up to a website and my username was not permitted.
Then I tried lewcrew and it went through fine, thats when I realised it.

Bless YOU for putting up with all of us on this Forum... some courage and audacity... now, how many modern day "squaws" can hold up to that???

I'll someday figure a new name for another recipe for a future bread...

Mine is simply derived from this....

Hi, neat idea for a thread! I've shared this already somewhere on here, but I'll try to do a shortened version here.
I have always loved dolphins, but had never seen them in the wild. While in Florida with about 200 other ladies at a resort retreat with my church, on our last night there, there was a full moon, so we had our own time of worship and prayer on the beach until 2:30 a.m. Several of my friends saw dolphins on our trip. One of them saw them RIGHT AFTER I LEFT THE BEACH THAT NIGHT. I had just missed them. So, I went out alone that morning around 6:30 a.m. and sang a song to God about His unfailing love. I told Him how I had REALLY WANTED TO SEE the dolphins, so here was His chance, and that "as a token of His love for me, would He please send them my way." I waited and waited until around 8:00 a.m looking, singing, and praying, and telling God how I KNEW the dolphins would have to obey Him if he called them to come by me, because His creation hears His voice.

Well, at 8:00, it was time for our last breakfast, so I told God, "Even though you did not send the dolphins in front of me, I still know you love me. I DON'T NEED TO SEE THEM TO VALIDATE YOUR LOVE FOR ME." AS I turned to leave, I turned to the right to begin walking up towards our resort. Then, right in front of me, there they were. 2 dolphins, swimming together and jumping out of the water one behind the other, for a distance of about 60 yards and then they were gone.
I had a ring on my finger that have 2 dolphins in that same leaping position that I saw them that day. When I look at my ring, I am reminded of His love for me and for His creation. When I signed up on these forums, the only thing I could think of was something to do with dolphins. So, thus :cooldolphins
Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
