It's more a question of when than if. My own take is a r/v of around .30 by end of Jan 06.

Some are saying it's reliant on the security levels, but personally can't see how this will effect the r/v. Trouble has gone on for hundreds of years out there especially in Saddam's reign. Iraq needs a r/v to move forward.

Feel this will come off sooner than P**s. ;0)

With thousands of years of killing and fighting between factions, this will never change, but in the end, people still have to eat, work, buy homes, all the things that make the world go around, no matter what. I agree, the economy will not be impacted by isolated terrorism, and with all the economic news pushing aside the negative news, it won't be long before peg is made, I agree. Sure hope it is in Jan. 2006, but I don't care when it happens, as long as it does, and it will be sometime in the near future. It sure is comforting to know we will all be less reliant and hopeful on PIPS when it does. Nice to be able to sleep without worry for a change. (g)

Well, as you know, Iraqi dinar is my favorite low riskIraqi-investments, and this has not changed since I got lucky with Kuwait dinar being in Qatar on construction project when Iraq had invaded, so timing is everything when discussing investments. This is a lesson all investors learn the good way or the bad way, but we all learn one way or another, timing is everything. You can be smart or stupid, makes no difference, it is all about timing.

My next favorite is Arbitrage-Sports where again, there is practically zero risk of losing money, and you have to have a diversified portfolio of low to no risk, which allows a few of the more higher risk opportunites we come across. Arbitrage-Sports is great for those who spend a lot of time online, and those with limited bankrolls, just like with the above Iraqi-Investments, you can get started with very little

Then I have my favorite MLM deals, which contrary to some peoples opinions, can be great for any portfolio as they can be a very low risk as well as offer a huge return on investment, mostly time. Like any investment strategy, you want to have a balanced portfolio if you are serious about minimizing risk while still being able to take some higher risk deals that come along. To each there own, but it is a strategy that has sure helped me get past PIPS dilemma.

We must be joined at the hip my friend, different countries but similar 'theories' on investments! looking forward to meeting up in Portugal hopefully and sinking a few next year.

Tend to agree on the Dinars, these are my 'bankers', have total faith there.

Sports arb is definitely on the list, done quite a bit of dd on this in the last week including different sites for arb bets and you really can add to your portfolio with no risk whatsoever. Just in the process of adding to the 10 or so bookmakers already registered with before making some bets.

Plexpay too, but Dinars are the '1'.
