Just to clarify for others, Adster means 12th March, not 3rd December!

That's a Sunday though - seems an odd day for it, but I suppose it could then start a new week with it.

I guess time will tell. I'd like to see it done sooner rather than later, and things are starting to look more promising. By June? Perhaps. Or maybe the 12th March thing will pan out.

Love to think next week too as gotta go back to work tomorrow, dreading it, lol. But I can't see the 12th as a reval date, the original poster has NOT had it confirmed by his people in the know either as that being the date now. The government need to be in and settled before anything happens. That's why my thoughts are for around June time.

Hey Adster,

A bit of a secondary question.

I know you are holding a significant quanity of dinar and so may be able to retire with a very low inital reval. I have done way too much work with spreedsheats and it looks like I will need a val of about 20 cents to retire.

Where on the 1 to 10 scale would you guess that 20+ cent val falls?

(to stay a bit on topic.. I would hope / guess that reval will be a high priority of the new gov and so may get done early in their efforts.. not the first day (3/12) but maybe by mid april?)

I'm a late-starter in the Dinar game...I've not even made it to $1M yet. Mid-May would give me time to increase our "holdings". A "dime-to-Dinar" won't be life changing unless I get to over $1M Dinar. That would pay for our house and free up lots of investment capital.

Although I believe there is no downside to investing in the dinars, I am not as optimistic as the majority here. The middle-eastern psyche is not one that meshes with western or European norms of thinking. I believe the insurgency will continue full force for many months to come and that the brink of civil war will be approached time after time. Iran is sure to get involved in attempts to upset the Sunni's through various attacks on their property and persons. I personally would not expect a reval until the end of this year. But like I said, there is no downside, just a frustrating waiting period whether it be long or short. Eventually we will all be retired, that is for certain.

yep, am a pipster, and a dinaroholic. I would love to see it happen by May, would make my life easier.
