    Supreme Iraq-US joint committee for economy and energy cooperation holds second meeting in Baghdad

    Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Barham Salih and Head of Economic Affairs in the US Embassy in Baghdad Mark Well headed a meeting of the second meeting of the supreme Iraq-US joint committee for economy and energy cooperation in the framework of the US- Iraq security agreement on Monday March the 30th in Baghdad.

    Iraq to purchase F-16 fighters this year

    Senate panel approves US Ambassador to Iraq

    The Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved the decision of President Barack Obama to nominate Christopher Hill as the new U.S. ambassador to Iraq and Lt. Gen. Karl Eikenberry to be the next ambassador to Kabul. The Senate chaired by Democratic John Kerry approved the appointment of these two men.
