First five Companies to be uploaded onto electronic trading are :-

Al-Mansour Bank

I don't think it's far fetched that they will have to adjust their exchange rate once the stocks of their banks become open to the world electronically. The problem is June Reed said the ISX would be electronic October '08 "at the latest", then I heard March 2nd and now April 19th. So who knows.

the one quality that i see so far from any of this Iraqi government is..."""WAIT"""i've never seen any form of government or anything or anybody for that matter have delays upon delays as much as they do...in no matter what they do....

Also, this is only electronic for Brokers in Iraq to send buy and sell orders rather than trundle down to the ISX in person as they have to now.

But it has encouraged Iraqi's living overseas to see progress being made and return there finances for reinvestment in there own Country and Stock Market, which is why we are seeing the Index moving at the moment.

So, it isn't completely open to the World Internationally in the accepted sense of the world. That will come later.

Question is, When?
