    Interesting,

With all the obvious corruption amoung the cabinet members, never mind worse, those who are fueling terrorism and diverting monies to militias, it is about time they set the correct example and start hanging these traders at the next cabinet meeting. This appears to be the only thing Iraqi's can understand, fight violence with violence.

    Good luck to all, Mike

Susie, I know it's getting hard taking the beating you always seem to take when the dates keep getting delayed. Your fortitude is amazing and keeps many of us "in the game" as far as trust in all of this panning out. Dates come and go and there is a lot going on that is obviously outside your control. As good as your sources (and those of others) might be, even they are not in control of what happens in that very unstable country.

Don't let the neysayers get to you. They are a necessary "evil" as they help bring balance to make sure the realities of what occurs in Iraq are understood. Regardless, I'm with you, Adster, Mike and others who are convinced this will happen sooner than later. Things have been set up appropriately. Delays are inevitable when trying to coordinate such a gigantic implementation. Especially when there are various factions still vying for their share.
Don't lose faith. A small bit of frustration is ok - we are all there. But imagine how frustrated the poor people in Iraq must be......

Hey Sus, for all you do, this Bud's for you!

That's a great idea, until you realize that there probably wouldn't be anyone left over the age of 5 by the time you were done.

im sorry if people cant read my posts like i type them out. but i would think that common sense practices would apply...

to make everyone happy ill post news and not say nothin about anything we find out from other sources.
Hang in there girl. 99.9% of us can't wait to see you post. I'm sure you understand what this thing means to people. I think the essence of it is FREEDOM. Not money necessarily, but what it symbolizes, being able to be free of debt, free to go and to do and to be what we want when we want. It is a powerful motivator, I know. I was very nearly in tears myself this morning, having allowed myself to really hope that today might be the day. I am in a terrible spot financially, and I'm sure a lot of others on this forum are in the same boat.
Back when I was crazed enough to ask my psychic friend what she thought, she said "All is see is chaos there now. Maybe December." I didn't want to hear it, but she and dear Adster appear to be on roughly the same page. Remember that funny poster that was out a while ago, with the little kitty hanging on to a tree branch in a high wind, with his little ears flat and eyes squinched shut? The caption was, "Hang in there." So let's all just, hang in there.

An informed source in the American embassy in Baghdad that the visit of Congress delegation to Baghdad, which was scheduled for today, Sunday, have been postponed until tomorrow.
The source added in a telephone call to the news (Voices of Iraq) Independent "The visit was postponed to tomorrow for security reasons."
The source pointed out that next week we will have periodic visits by delegations from the Congress for Iraq and in the form of waves.
The source of the prime minister said earlier today that a delegation from the Congress Alamrbaki arrived in Baghdad today in an undeclared visit to Iraq.

    Susie,

We enjoy your posts. Don't let anyone get to you, 99% of us are behind you. My own thoughts are not to believe any rumour, you only get hopes up to then have them dashed. You and I have done enough research and been in this long enough to know we're almost there. IT will happen.

    Keep your chin up. :0)
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.
