There was talk previously about opening a Warka account. I'm not very knowledgeable regarding investments, but my question is this...If I were to open an account at Warka by wiring US dollars, convert them to dinars, and then the reval happens, wire money in USD to my account in the US, would there still be tax to pay? I didn't see where Warka requires a ssn, which is understandable, so how does the government monitor this? Does the US bank have to report the wire from Warka? probably dumb question , but this is so new to me.

So, the term investment law = oil law and foreign investment law = fil?

I just wanted to get my terms straight. I was under the impression that the fil was supposed to be done and the hydrocarbon law is what they are working on.

Could I get some cliff notes on the laws, por favor?

I AGREE - I'm no expert but I am reading and researching but today I AM CONFUSED AS ALL GET OUT. I wish I had a trap mind like Par77, SGS and all that post the good stuff.

I just read that ALL, I repeat ALL Chase branches deal with dinar. Not only do they sell them but they will buy them from you if you have an account.

Next stop international, they wouldn't be doing it for any other reason! Almost there people.

Do chase have branches in the UK ?

I thought I was the only one that was confused. I'm glad I'm not the only one in that boat. Now if we can find some oars.

Nope, but as the classic movie Airplane quote goes, 'but that's not important right now'.....

Anyway with HSBC heavily involved and the Halifax/Royal Bank of Scotland whom I know you can buy dinars with. Once it's an international currency all major banks will buy/sell dinars worldwide.
